Solar Eclipse

The event that had the biggest impact on me was the solar eclipse event because the last time a solarge eclipse was visible across the entire contiguous US since 1918 and visible anywhere in the US since 1979. Seeing something that not even my grandma has seen was absolutely incredible and it was even more amazing that I got to see it with my friends.

I felt that at the Sweets with SOLS event I was able impact it using servant leadership. I helped by doing what was asked of me but I also took initiative in making a sign so people understood it was free and come over since before they would just walk by, I think they didn't want to pay for anything.

This week I learned in my corrections course which is online about how punishment has changed from the middle ages to the Enlightenment age to now. It was really interesting to read about how corrections has gone from corporal and capital punishment to imprisonment. Also in all of my courses I learned an overview of what the semester will look like and an introduction into each subject.
