A Week of Speaking

This past week I had the honor to recite a Maya Angelou poem at the African-American read in event. I also got to hear some other incredible writings including some written by students. In my policing class I got to hear from an officer on the technology unit which was interesting. Finally yesterday I had the opportunity to speak at a TEDxCincinnati even about Pepper. It was called How Reinventing My Rescue Reinvented Me and it was about our journey together. It was an amazing experience and after a man who had lost his son to suicide thanked me for sharing my story because I had mentioned that topic in my talk.
